This new work is influenced by listening to percussion music and my own humble attempts to learn the tabla drums. There is something so primal about drum beats, so awakening, so clearly illuminating in the fact that everything is connected to everything else, and it is that which fuels my attempts to articulate the view from my perch, and to try to make sense of the chaos that is modern life.
